FEROZ ABBAS KHAN, noted screen writer, film and theater producer and director, is the creator of the serial.Winner of several national and international awards, his work has traveled globally, playing to huge audience applause and critical acclaim.

Nelson Mandela called his film Gandhi, my Father deeply moving. Most of his work has been associated with social causes. Mr Khan is committed to the use of entertainment education for social change.



Shradha Singh is a radio and television professional with vast experience. She has worked as a radio host and Programming Head for Radio City and Radio One. In Television, She worked as an Executive Producer for Kasauti Zindagi Kay, (Star Plus), a Balaji Production and one of the most popular TV shows. She has also produced shows like Mirch Masala (Star TV), Body and Soul (Star One), Khoobsoorat (Zee TV) and Zee Woman (Zee TV). Her television screenwriting experience includes various shows on TV such as MTV Exit, Aamna Saamna (Colors), Halla Bol (Bindaas), Saavdhan India (Life OK), Tara Sharma show – ek Nayi Ma ka Safar (Colors).

Besides these, she has written a BBC Ten documentary series on DANLEP: The Danida Assisted National Leprosy Eradication Programme and a documentary called ‘A Dawn Awaited ‘on the insurgency in Nagaland.

She has won the ‘Navodit Lekhikha Award’ from Hindi Academy, Government of Delhi.

Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon (I, a woman, can achieve anything)

The inspiration for Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon lies in Haule Haule  – a short 22-minute film commissioned by the National Rural Health Mission for the World Population Day in 2010.  Produced by PFI, Haule Haule was appreciated across the country for both its substantive content on family planning and for its high entertainment value.


He is renowned for his play Tumhari Amrita, his debut film Gandhi, My Father garnered critical praise and three national awards.  He is aneminent theatre and film director and the producer of Haule Haule. One of India’s most socially committed creative minds, he has used his refined sensibilities and illustrious theatre background to convert his deep commitment to social causes into brilliantly conceptualizing the serial.


A global thought leader in the field of entertainment-education and Professor in the Department of Communication, University of Texas at El Paso, Arvind has advised us on how to make ‘bahut mushkil’ (‘very difficult’) subjects such as sex selection, child marriage, prevention of unwanted pregnancies, domestic violence, and sensitization of boys, entertaining and thought-provoking.


Founder member of HCL, Ajai Chowdhry has advised and guided us to expand the vision of Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon from a TV serial to a trans-media initiative. Renowned for his pioneering work in Information Communication & Technology, Dr. Chowdhry provides critical inputs for adapting ideas and content to multiple formats.


PFI’s Executive Director, Poonam has worked closely with experts, including members of PFI’s Advisory Council, and after passionate conversations spread over many hours, they zeroed in on using popular communication media to change attitudes and behavior by providing positive messages to viewers on women’s rights and health. Their energy, alacrity and conviction helped conceptualize the serial, mobilize funds, and more importantly, attract the best minds to translate the concept into action.
