Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon Season Two was launched on April 4, 2015 and is being telecast on DD National at prime time on weekends. Doordarshan authorities are in the process of working in 14 Regional Kendras to air the teleserial (starting from Season One), and also dub where required.

The new season focuses on adolescent health, sexual and reproductive health, nutrition, substance abuse and gender based violence. The following strategies are being used to reach out and connect to the youth of the country:

Celebrity engagements and events: A media meet was organized with Feroz Abbas Khan and Meinal Vaisnav (Dr. Sneha, the protagonist) on April 10, 2015. On April 11, PFI in collaboration with ADRI (Asian Development Research Institute) hosted a meeting with key editors and media titled “Health, Gender and Development in Bihar”, supported by Packard Foundation. Fifteen editors of all leading English, Hindi and Urdu newspapers gave their backing to the workshop. Mr Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister of Bihar, attended the meeting and flagged off Season Two of Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon. On April 16, Population Foundation of India hosted the National Launch of Season Two in Mumbai.  Mr Farhan Akhtar, a leading Bollywood actor, was present for the event. Recognising the potential for the serial to impact men, Mr Akhtar volunteered to become the sutradhar (narrator) for the serial. The scripting and shooting is in full flow. His organisation, MARD, is collaborating with Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon to further women’s empowerment and male responsibility.

On May 29, another state launch was organized in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Ms. Sharmila Tagore had reaffirmed her commitment to MKBKSH and was present at the launch. As part of the Bhopal launch, an award ceremony was also organized, and five women from Madhya Pradesh were felicitated to celebrate their Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon stories of change. Social media: We have been proactively working towards strengthening our social media strategy to increase the reach and engagement of this initiative across various platforms and reach out to youth. Doordarshan has been given the rights to live-stream the episodes on YouTube. Vimeo, another video platform, has episodes with English subtitles.
